These terms apply to bookings, credit purchases and event sign-ups made on this website.

What we sell Playing time on our pool tables, snooker table and darts boards, booked for a specific date and time; prepaid playing credit; event sign-ups; and private hire of the whole venue. Company events are quoted separately and invoiced.
Prices All prices on this site are in euros and include VAT at 13.5%. The total you pay is shown before you confirm, including any discount code, gift card or account credit applied. We charge no booking fee and no payment-method surcharge. Where a price is shown as reduced, the previous price stated is the lowest price we charged for that item in the 30 days before the reduction.
How a contract is made Choosing what to play, picking a time and pressing the confirm-and-pay button places a binding order. Your slot is then held for 30 minutes while you complete payment. If payment is not completed within that time the slot is released and no contract comes into existence. The contract is formed when we confirm your booking by email.
Payment Card payments are handled by Stripe on their own pages, and card details never reach our servers. Epassi employee-benefit payments are handled by Epassi on their own pages. You can also pay from your account credit balance, with a gift card, or with a discount code. Company events may be invoiced with a payment term of 14 days.
Confirmation and access After payment we email you a confirmation with your booking reference, what you booked, the date, time and duration, the total paid, the cancellation policy and your door code. The code works from 15 minutes before your booking starts and stops working when it ends. Please keep it to yourself - it is what secures an unstaffed venue.
Cancelling a booking You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your booking starts, from My account or by contacting us. What you paid is returned to your account credit balance, which never expires and can be used for any future booking. After that point the booking cannot be cancelled and is not refunded, because the time has been reserved exclusively for you. If you would rather have the money back than credit, write to info@theopentable.fi and we will do what we reasonably can.
Right of withdrawal Bookings are leisure services supplied at a specific time. Under chapter 6, section 16 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act the 14-day right of withdrawal in distance selling does not apply to them. Our cancellation policy above applies instead.
Prepaid playing credit is different: it is not tied to a date, so the full 14-day right of withdrawal does apply. See /withdrawal for how to use it.
