This site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social-media pixels. There is nothing here to profile you with, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner on arrival.
Cookies we set
ot_session - keeps you signed in. Set only when you log in or register, deleted when you sign out. Expires after 30 days. Strictly necessary for a service you asked for, so no consent is required.
ot_lang - remembers whether you are reading the site in English, Finnish or Swedish. Set only when you pick a language yourself. Expires after 1 year.
Stored in your browser, never sent to us
ot-dismissed-announcements - which notices you have closed, so they stay closed.
ot-map-consent - whether you chose to load the map.
Both live in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to our servers.
The map
The "Find us" map on the front page is served by Google. Loading it sends your IP address to Google and lets Google store its own cookies in your browser, so it does not load until you press the button. That press is your consent, and you can take it back with "Hide map again", which also clears the stored choice. The plain link to Google Maps is always available as an alternative and loads nothing until you click it.
Third parties you reach by choosing to
Paying by card takes you to Stripe, and paying with Epassi takes you to Epassi. Those are their own sites with their own cookies and their own privacy notices. Nothing from them runs on this site.
Changing your mind
Cookies can be cleared or blocked in your browser settings at any time. Blocking ot_session will stop you being able to sign in, since it is what keeps you signed in.
Legal basis
Storing information on your device is governed by section 205 of the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services. Cookies strictly necessary for a service you have asked for may be set without consent, but must still be disclosed - which is what this page does.
